Ursuline Academy

Ursuline Academy offers a year-round Extended Day Program that includes holidays and summer. In keeping with Ursuline’s tradition, Extended Day seeks to provide Ursuline* students, grades Montessori 3 and Pre-K through 8th grade, with a warm, home-like setting with opportunities for success in all areas of development: social, physical, emotional, and intellectual.

*Please note that the Vacation Program is available to any family in the community.

Before-School Care Program

This option provides supervision before the school day begins for children age 3 through 8th grade.

Coverage is from 7 to 8 a.m. Cost is $680.

After-School Program

Children from full-day school classes enter this program at dismissal and remain until pick-up at a pre-arranged time. This program is available for children age 3 through 8th grade, providing opportunities which include study hall, indoor and outdoor recreational play, baking, and arts and crafts projects. For an additional charge, lessons in each of the following activities may be arranged: ballet, tap, karate, gymnastics/cheerleading, soccer, activities at Wilmington Music school, private piano lessons, pre-school laptop program, elementary and junior-level engineering program, and robotics. The after-school program includes coverage on school-wide half days and early dismissals due to bad weather.

There are three options for after-school coverage:

2:45 - 4 p.m. Cost is $1,275.

2:45 - 4:45 p.m. Cost is $2,050.

2:45 - 5:45 p.m. Cost is $2,785.

Holiday Program

This option provides coverage for teacher in-service days, parent-conference days, Christmas and Easter vacations, and selected school holidays. This program is available only to students enrolled in the After-School Program.

Cost is $990.

The program is available for girls age 3 through 8th grade, and boys age 3 through 3rd grade. The program begins at 7 a.m. for students already enrolled in the Before-School Program and at 8 a.m. for all other students. Children must depart at their regular after-school contracted time.

Vacation Program

Available to any family in the community

This one or two-week option provides coverage for Christmas and Easter breaks. Coverage begins at 7 a.m. and ends at 5:45 p.m.

Cost for one week is $360.

Cost for two weeks is $680.
