In the 2008–09 school year, 4th grade students received etiquette lessons in the first quarter of the year, learning the following KOOL skills:

Table manners are all about being KOOL:

* K is for Kindness; that is what real manners are all about
* O is for Observe and help people out
* O is for Outgoing, step up and introduce yourself and others
* L is for Listen and be a good friend

In the high school, juniors and seniors receive etiquette classes for one quarter of the year.

Juniors learn more mature variations on topics such as the following: - How to make introductions - Dining manners - Cell phone and email etiquette - How to behave at the prom and other formal events - How to go through a receiving line - How to behave as an audience

Seniors learn: - Behavior at funerals and writing sympathy cards - R.S.V.P. importance - Driving dangers - Issues with college life, including: - Resolving roommate conflicts - Dating - Eating - Exercise - Self-sufficiency - Being a good friend
