From a fundraising perspective, there is nothing more essential to the financial health of Ursuline Academy than keeping the Annual Fund strong!
This is especially important while raising special funds through special, major, or capital gifts. Keeping the Annual Fund strong is always a balancing act for any institution. However, Ursuliine can keep the Annual Fund strong, and growing, while conducting other fundraising programs by following one simple rule: Annual Fund First!
The simplest way to ensure the strength and stability of the Annual Fund is to educate our community of contributors to the importance of the Annual Fund and follow our words with action. Those contributors interested in securing the current and future needs of the school can help even more by understanding, and educating others, that the basis of ALL successful fundraising programs - whether Special Events, Major Gifts, or Capital Campaigns - is the Annual Fund.
Therefore, when contemplating a special, major, capital, or planned gift, giving consideration to the Annual Fund contribution - if such a gift has not yet been made for the fiscal year - is the best way we can all make sure that Ursuline Academy stays strong.
